    I am creating my first catalog with the 8.1.9 standard version of CatDV. When I import directory from a 1.5TB drive I eventuallly always get the following error.

    An error occurred wile importing abcd.flv

    Low on memory. Aborting!
    Processed 4159 of 28934 files

    I’m running this on a new windows 7 machine with 12GB of ram. Do I have to import my directories in smaller chunks or does this mean something else is wrong? I assume that CatDV doesn’t work with flv’s so that part doesn’t really bother me.

    I would try this in smaller chunks 28000+ assets in a single catalog is way too many. You can also send the error log to support@squarebox.co.uk
