    hello,

after four months of painful rotoscoping i’m finally able to render the first minute of my current project, i’ve got a lot of mocha shapes in there, masking a pro res 4444 video file. after effects stops rendering at some point (700/ 1700 frames) a finder window pops up telling me ae needs more disc space, which is weird because i’ve got 330 gb space available. turning multicore rendering on/ off doesn’t solve the problem. i’ve rebooted my imac using my installations disc to repair corrupted disk permission, useless…..

    help needed

    many thanks for your ideas

Are you using multiple drives? Perhaps you may be running low on your system drive or your disk cache drive?

    hello,

i’m working on an imac i7 with 8 gb ram and i’m not using multiple drives, plenty of space left on the 1 tb hd … any way i can increase ae’s cache/ temporary hd space?

or might energy saver be causing problems with rendering?

    greetings

    juergen
