Low cost edit software for P2 HD
We have just switched over 100% to P2 for shooting and use primarily XDCAM as our distribution format. Our primary edit systems are AVID MC 5.5.
We had been using NEO-2 for screening and offline edits but just discovered that NEO 2 & 3 don’t support P2 much less AVCIntra HD. Does anybody know of any lower cost edit software that will handle P2 and provide some export options for client preview ?
I would sure hate to waste a Premier license for this purpose.

For low price to get a P2 converter, maybe u need APP especially designed for MXF files. Google transmxf to see if there’s one to meet your need.
