Resolve already has custom controllers. Although it does recognise Tangent devices, I doubt that they will bother to support this. Their business model is based on their hardware as the software is free or really cheap.

Interesting..always looking for another cheaper option.
I find my Avid Artist quite cumbersome at times.
For my personal workflow of course.
