I have seen a couple of options from TC Electronics in my freelance travels.

I think this supports FCPX, Logic, Media Composer, ProTools and a few more – not sure about FCP7

Pretty sure there is a demo download too

    best wishes

    Thanks. I’ve seen these too.
We are running FCP 6 and I’m not sure if I will find anything for that.
Just wanted to see how others are dealing with this new spec.

FCP like most NLEs are not designed as audio finishing tools for broadcast. DAWs like ProTools and Fairlight have proper loudness metering built in or there are plugins designed to do this.

As far as I know, no-one has developed such plugins for FCP or are likely to. Part of the problem is that FCP doesn’t have a bus architecture to enable plugins to be put on an output, just individual clips which isn’t much use.
