Lots of little files
When digitizing from DV deck via firewire I get (on some clips) 60 or 100 little 8k or 64k files, all numbered “clipname 1”, “clipname 2″… etc up to “clipname xx”. The files have the Quicktime icon, but cannot be opened (File not a format QT understands”. There are hundreds of these files. Anyone seen this before?

dropped frames? try turning on the stop capture on drop frame feature
