I recently got a new HD and had to reinstall everything. The story now is when I try to add my work to the render queue and select quicktime then a compressor I can’t find a LOT of the ones I had before like JPEG B Compressor, H.263, Soreon or something, etc, etc. I only got like mpeg, photo jpeg, animation, png, and a few others ones. No clue why! I even got quicktime pro (1.4.1 I think or something like that). This is ae cs3 btw and I got premiere cs3 as well which HAS all the missing compressors. N e one know why I’m getting this strange phenomenon? Thanks in advance.

I don´t know if you already found the answer. I had the same problem but I found the solution on the cow.

    Here´s what you do:

    Open quicktime…
    Go to:

    EDIT/Preferences/QuickTime Preferences

    Advanced Tab

Than click on the “Enable encoding using legacy codecs” checkbox.

Hit apply, close and lauch AE. It should be there now.

    Cheers.
