Lost video corruption when rendering HELP?????
Was rendering my project last night it got to 55% and got an error message saying memory full please close some applications, after that i reopened my project to get an error message saying project can not open project files either corrupted or lost any help please ive spent months on this and its my first project what a gutting feeling please help????

danny, you should have a backup copu – vegas makes one always with your original veg file. unless you ticked this option to off in prefs. other help i can give you is-try looking for autosave projects. my autosaves are here
C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataLocalSonyVegas ProVERSION NUMBER
theu have names like 00001b60.autosave.veg
the last one you have before this fatal rendering should work. open it, re-save it under your name and that is it. always make a backup, don’t count on the system. -
Thanks for your help ill give it a go hopefully it will work, if it fails is it possible to restore your computer to the day before at a time before i renderd the project would that work????? Many thanks

no danny, restoring the system won’t work. veg files are your private documents, they are not system files and because of that they are not changed during system restore, so your veg file will not be restored to any previous version
