    Hello,
I am working on a project in my Avid XpressPro and when I started trying to capture video/audio this morning… nothing appears. I can see time code running. I have checked my settings in capture and they seem to be correct. I also have the V/A1/A2 selected and the source is DV for both audio and video.
I can’t understand what happened as it was working just fine on Friday.
I am not getting any video coming through my composer window or viewing monitor. I have also rebooted… unplugged and replugged just about everything… and have also tried to capture from my camera to see if it was a deck issue. That didn’t work either. I know there is audio and video on the tape as I can see it in the camera when i play it back. Sigh.
Is there something obvious that I am overlooking?
I wil try any other suggestions you may have… this project deadline is looming and I have no back up system to turn to when it comes to editing.

    Mucho thanks!!!

    Kim

Hey Kim, what Kind of system are you running? If you’re on a workstation. I would power down and resead the video and audio cards. Also did you load any new software over the weekend, that could have knocked your AVID drivers for a flip. Failing that possibly reloading your AVID software might be a worhtwhile effort.

Thanks Pearl… your post flipped a switch in my head. We had some serious storms here this weekend and I realized I hadn’t tried to unplug/turn off my MOJO. (i pretty much unplugged or turned off everything else to no avail) Once I did that I got my video/audio back. Thanks for triggering a though that had slipped right by. Must have been some sort of power thing that sent my MOJO out of whack.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!
