Lost Timeline & Canvas…
I opened my project today and the canvas and timeline have mysteriously vanished. I can’t open them with keyboard commands and when I try to open them under window they apear light grey and I can’t select and open them. Does anyone know what the hell I should do? any help would be greatly appreciated…

You closed your Canvas. There should be a sequence in your browser. Double click it open it. There has to be a sequence open for there to be canvas and timeline open.

Another thing that works is to pull down the WINDOW Menu,
Select ARRANGE and then one of the items in the submenu. Once you do this, the display should reset itself, and the missing items will reappear. All you need to do now is arrange the windows the way you would like.

If the Canvas and Timeline are closed, resetting the window arrangement will not open them. A sequence has to be open for the Timeline and Canvas to appear.
