Hi, So my external drive was dissconnected while my project file was open. So it made FCP think the fles were gone and all of the tumbnail images Have that”media offline” red graphic on them. When I brought the drive back online and reconnected the media everything ws fine except the thumbnail images on the timeline still have the “missing” graphic on them. How do I make the thmbnail image appear as normal? Thoughts? I am sure it is something simple right in front of me but I am just not seeing it?? Thanks in advance!

Trash your thumbnail cache file. It’s found where you set it in the Scratch disk settings.

    Hi Jerry,

Where do you find the cache file? I can’t seem to locate mine,
or maybe I’m not recognizing it.

Never mind. It gets its own little folder.
