  Lost project when FCPX crashed

  I submitted my project in compressor and nothing happened (?), so re-submitted with the same affect. Should have gone to bed instead I forced quit and FCPX crashed. Noobi me got to thinking that I’ll have to re-install so I best get my files on the external drive. So I was doing so and eventually FCPX started up again. But it would only get to loading said project and crash- but now the project is gone. I try to load the ‘currentversion’ and the back up but it crashes the program. Anyway to save project? Thanks
