I did a shoot the other day with my HVX200 720p24pn onto my 32GB p2. After a very important interview, i accidentally hit the record and recorded about 3 minutes of junk. No problem i thought, just delete that last file… right?! Well i went to the thumbnails, selected the very last clip, hit it again to highlight it, selected delete and when it went back to the thumbnails, the last clip was still there and the interview clip as GONE!! I quickly removed that card and put in my other card to continue with my other interviews, hoping i could deal with it when i got back to my studio.
sure enough it was gone, deleted, vanished. I know it was there because i viewed it quickly before i recorded that junk file.
anyways, i tried a couple of recovery programs and i can see the files, the program even recovered it but it was a mess of pixel crap.
Has anyone encountered this, or to what might of caused this. I cant afford to lose data

    Thanks,
    Inger
