Lost media files after transfer
I transfered all media files and project to a new drive. Once I opened the project on my new drive, I reconnected all the files to new drive. The Livetype files will not reconnect. I can open the files in livetype, but it will not let me reconnect them in FCP. This is too weird. And yes the normal “client is waiting” yada, yada, yada. I did not see any post on this problem in the search. Can anyone help? Is this a bug? I also tried to open a file and resave it on the new drive, it states connected, but media is missing; but then it will open in Livetype.
I am running Final Cut Studio and I moved the files to a graid.

I’d think your problem comes from dragging and dropping on the desktop… if you use Media Manager to make copies, I’ll wager that the problem wouldn’t happen.
