Activity Forums Adobe Photoshop Lost layer root name

I’ve placed an image into my photoshop project and changed the name from it’s original file name. I got the image from a huge database of stock images on another hard drive. I can’t find this file’s original name now (unless I thumb through my image reference manual which seems redundant). How do I get the root name for that layer? Any/All layers?

    Thanks,
    Eric

Photoshop does not link to files… just pastes pixels.
