Lost files?
Hi,
I have a problem, that is problably embarrasing simple. The 300 GB harddrive on my Mac Pro i full! When I go though the folders I can´t find about 200 GB. I guess it is some dislocatet scratch-files from my beginner days in FCP. Normally – today – I use external drives for the footage. What have I done wrong?

Possibly you haven’t been keeping up with some regular system maintenance. Over time your Macintosh HD directory will become corrupted. The directory keeps a list of where everything is on your hard drive. There are lots of programs (some of which are free or shareware) that will perform system maintenance and return your startup drive to it’s original efficiency.
One of the best ones is called DiskWarrior®
