my FCP session is happy and working fine.
I decide to right click on session in browser and export to Soundtrack pro.

Whilst exporting I get an error and cant complete export.
All of a sudden one of my FCP file has dropped offline. I tried to reconnect and the file is not where it should be. I spend ages searching drives incase it has accidentally been moved but mac search can’t find the file. This is something I have never had happen to me on my current setup being a Macbook Pro with a G-raid 2TB drive. So I decide to look at my backup drive and there is the file in the folder it should be in. I have copied the file back over to the original HD and the session opens fine. Is this a sign that my master HD has failed.I guess there is nothing anyone can do to help without vigorous problem solving. I am just a little shocked to lose 1 single file. I have used !.5TB of HD and have .5TB free I will do a search on this forum as well to check recommended capacity. Looking for recommendation on media backup software.
