Hey anyone and everyone . . . Help please!

    I just upgraded to 10.4.10

Tried to do some editing in FCPHD and FCP3 . . . neither program can see either my DV deck (JVC SRVS30) or my camera (Sony PD150). I’ve checked the cable by switching it out – still nothing.

    I also trashed FCP preferances too – still nothing . . .

I checked the system profiler and and it sees both devices.

iMovie sees the deck and or camera, so what’s going on with
FC? It worked everything worked fine before I updated software . . . (some JAVA update and 10.4.10)

can anyone shed some light and or give me some direction?

    thanks in advance!

Did you refresh your A/V devices? That is found under the view tab on your menu bar.

Did you trash your QuickTime Receipts? That will solve your problem.
