Lost Audio Plugins DirectX Vegas 4.0
Hello!
For some reason I cannot fathom, I seem to have lost most of my audio effects in Vegas 4.0. I recently got rid of a free version of Sony Acid… could that have done it?
My question is, how do I get these back? They were choruses, flanges, delays and reverbs… I still have eq, compression, noise gates.
Do I need to erase and then reinstall Vegas? I can buy these from the Sony website, but they came with Vegas when I bought it oh so many years ago….
Any and all help is greatly appreciated…
I did go to the Sony site and updated all the fx packages (XFX 1,2, 3, express, etc.) but they show up wanting a serial number and then go into demo mode with lots of buzzes every few seconds.

It could be that the ACID uninstall affected something since they share those plug-ins. Just uninstall and re-install Vegas 4 and you should get your FX back again.

Nevermind!
I just wiped everything and restarted the computer and then re-installed… registered online, and there they were!
