Lost audio function from the laptop
Greetings…The audio slider(?) on the menu bar all of a sudden stopped working when a pair of headsets are no longer plugged into the Final Cut Pro laptop. With headphones plugged in, audio can be adjusted by the slider control. Unplug the headsets and the slider contol is ghosted and inoperable. The problem only occured later in the day after working for most of the AM/PM. We have checked all settings and consulted Mac OS X Tiger Edition manual…nothing brings back the audio slider function. Has anyone experienced this problem? Can anyone point us in the right direction to regain this audio function? Hopefully, my explanation has made sense.
