unless he made x number of copies of the master file, then trimmed down each one!or used FCP to Batch Export or Media Manage.
really, it;s not so complicated a situation.

May 1, 2007 at 12:11 amSure – I had suggested making copies of the clip before trimming. Didn’t say it was a neat solution! Personally I’d just make subclips in FCP, or capture it properly in the first place…
