Loss of sync error when digitizing
I’m on an Adrenaline 1.5.1 with 4 x 146gb Avid drives – raid 0. Sporadically over the last 3-4 days I’ve been getting the “loss of sync” error shortly after starting to digitize. The system ran near perfectly since 1.5.1 was released oh so many moths ago. Any ideas? Thought I’d try here before calling tech support – sometimes it’s easier. Much thanks.

W- I get a couple of capture-abortive errors with my AdrenaMac. Usually with component input. A restart after changing input types (SDI to Comp) will avert the prob. Are you using a UL3D or UL4D scsi adaptor? I just upgraded and saw a noticable improvement with regards to the bad-frames on-output that has plagued the Adrenaline. I didn’t see one until one of my dock-shuttles died… Oh well, thats striped storage for you! Good luck, TS
