Losing Video Output / Kona Lhi
Hi,
I have run into an issue where when i use Aftereffects, when i am done and I shut it down, the Kona LHi card won’t show video out of Final Cut.
If I reopen Aftereffects it works again in Aftereffects but I can’t get it to show in FCP again unless I restart.
Any thoughts or something I can do ?
I tried Refresh A/V Devices in FCP and it doesn’t work.

Toggle to the Finder, wait a second, then toggle back to FCP.
Also, make sure to choose an AJA easy setup to make sure you are setup for your timeline format and video out is et correctly. double check that the external video is on under the view menu.

I actually got it to work. I had already done it before I could try your suggestions.
The issue ended up being that I had installed the AE plugin from the Adobe installer as well as the regular AJA Drivers. I uninstalled the Adobe Plugs then reinstalled everything except the Aftereffects one and it is working fine now.
