I have a G4 that is connected to a PC based wireless network & for whatever reason it keeps losing it’s connectivity. I shows that I still am able to hit the drives on the network so the hardware/software seems fine. The system couldn’t automatically pull an ip address through the DHCP server, so we manually configured & gave it a static ip which worked for about an hour then kicked us off again. It will do this randomly throughout the day & lose the connectivity for about 5-10 minutes. It is annoying as hell, any thoughts or suggestions? We have updated the drivers/software for the wireless card & are on OSX.3.8. Thanks in advance.

Actually under further review & discussions with the individual at the machine that is unresponsive I have learned that you can’t connect to the local network. So maybe this can help with answers. It is a WPA wireless set-up also if that has anything relevant to the troubleshooting.
