    losing my mind, please help!

    Hi

    My AE CS3 simply will not render out any avi or quicktime. I uninstalled QT and re installed it, nothing. I can render out TIFF sequences and jpegs.

    this is so wierd I am losing it..

    also I go through make movie option as usual for exports.

    can anyone please help me with this?

    Don’t use the export feature, add your comps to the render queue for rendering. Exporting in AE is a no-no for all but a few situations.

    thanks Brendan but not using export.

    Alt+ctrl+shift, resetting all preferences solved it.
