Okay. I have A cam and B cam but only one audio track. I sync them up in the timeline and link them all appropriately… now I want to click on my B cam and open it in the source montior… the problem is the audio is no longer in sync. it seems to have moved the audio to the very beginning of the clip… in fact, it shows it on the ruler at the bottom… it even lets me grab it and slide it as though it’s gonna let me resync it… but nope, it’s just teasing… it snaps back to the beginning every time.

    help!

That’s because the audio is locked to the video so when you open it in the source monitor you are looking at the original setup of the captured clip. You can only shift positions for sync in the timeline which shows you the result in the Program Monitor.
