I filmed a Soccer match and the picture quality was terrible
    Can someone please help me

    Settings I used:

    System: 50i
    Recorded format: MPEG HD
    Bit Rate HQ

I recorded for one minute and 12 seconds and the properties on the file read

Size: 54.4mb which sounds very small
    Data rate: 8000kbps
    Total bitrate: 8224 kbps
    Frame rate: 25frames/second.

Check your settings. The bit rate should be around 35,000 kbps.
Are you just looking at a proxy file maybe?

The problem is I can’e seem to be able to get in the menu right.
I bought the camera as an ex-demo recently and trying to figure it out.
When I hit the menu button the only options I get are:

    uoo contents

    01 PAINT
    02 SCENE FILE
    03 FORMAT
    04 SPECIAL AFFECTS
    05 ASSINGABLE
    06 DISC
    07 OUTPUT
    08 VF SETTING
    09 MARKER
    10 SKIN DETAIL
    11 RESET

I’m not familiar with that particular camera, but Sony etiquette is to hold down rotary switch for five seconds and then turn menu toggle on to view “top” menu, then you’ll have all the functions available.
