    Hi All

    I didn’t get my AJA GEN10 yet …
I’m loosing lock to my HDCAM SRW 5500 on output

I know I should have TRI LEVEL SYNC.

But is there a way I could get around it tonight for an output.
FCP is Black and Coding the tape fine LTC / VITC are matching.

    Any Ideas ?

    KONA 3

I have my Kona3 and HDW 1800 HDcam deck both locked to SD color black for synced edit to tape of 55 minute docos without problem.

If you have no reference then set the HDCam to lock to input SDI signal and they will stay locked together.

I have an old school black burst generator. How do I hook it up to the HDCAM deck ?

In the HDCam setup menus, there will be a setting to lock to external reference or input signal.

I don’t know the particular model as it is different to mine, but I can set the input type and input reference from front panel menus.

So without a black gen, find the setting to lock to input not external reference.
