    Using AE CC
I have an Illustrator file (of a map) It is scaled to 190%

I have items on top of my map, like basic flags that are casting shadows on the map.

When I ACTIVATE the Continuous Rasterize on my map layer, the shadows disappear that the flags were casting.

With the button turned off – the shadows come back but my map looks awful.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks!

Put the map in a precomp, scaled as you would like it with the continuously rasterize switch thrown inside the comp. Use that precomp in your main comp without the switch turned on for the precomp.
