  • loopout(“continue”) on 3D layers position?

is it possible to use the expression loopout(“continue”) on a 3D layer’s position? it works on a 2D layers scale property but I haven’t been able to get this to work. what I am trying to do is take a 3D text layer and essentially zoom out from it to infinity. if I use the scale property on a 2D layer, once the scale goes below zero into the negative it flips upside down. that’s the only reason I’m using a 3D layer for this. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

You can apply a clamp expression to your 2d text layer so that it never goes below 0 on the scale.
Or you could trim the layer when it hits 0.

However, that’s not your problem. Your problem is that you forgot to capitalize the O in loopOut.

    Nice! 🙂

So am I correct to assume that there’s no way to get this to work with a 3D layer?

It works just fine with a 3d layer, you just need to write loopOut instead of loopout

Expressions are based on JavaScript. It is very, very picky about how you write things.
