Looping video footage breathing chest
Hi everybody,
I would like to create a seamless loop of a breathing chest of a man, and the breathing body/skin of a horse (both of them in close-up, and I still have to film it).
Searching the internet on how to create a seamless loop of video footage in after effects gave me several results, but none of them really is a solution for me. Most of them work with a fade as a solution, which I notice and think it’s ugly. Another one gave me a solution with a reveal matte, which I think will only work for the fire footage on a black background he had.I was thinking to film several breaths of the man, and at one point, time remap his last breath and reverse it back to the beginning, maybe you won’t notice?
Any thoughts?

If reversing does not work, second option is to
Match the first frame with the last and try to find something with fast movement to hide the seam (very short dissolve) and if this does not work you can morph the transition using Re:Flex morph (google it)Roei Tzoref

It’s for a website I have to create. When hovering over the image of the man or the horse, both of them start breathing.

Oh, yeah, time remapping it would totally work for what you’re trying to do. You just might need to mess with the curves a bit in the graph editor at the points where it starts going back and then forward again.
