Looping light streak background? how to AE?
I am trying to turn a friends flyer into a looping motion graphics background. I basically need blue and green light streaks going from upper right to lower left. Also some hot spots like the lights are hot. Anyone have any ideas how to pull this off, a picture of the flyer im trying to recreate in AE is below.

Particular is probably the best option. Similar to this, except for linear and in two directions, based on the assumption that it should look like long-exposure headlights on a two-way street, which is what that original appears to be:

it is a printed flyer right now, i believe they want a background that repeats they can use for different purposes including screens during breaks at live events.

I agree Particular is probably the best way to go. If you don’t have that plugin, you could also use the free Saber plugin.

yea i tried the saber plugin but it was all either fire or jagged, with particular I am getting a good still photo look but cant get it to look like its moving in a straight line from top right to bottom left.
