looping imported media
Hi all,
I am not an Avid editor so please excuse this question as it is for a client of mine stuck with his Xpress Pro. Can you set an imported media file to loop automatically, or do you have to take said media file (subtly spinning bg) and copy/paste along the timeline. In AEFX, we have option to set number of times an imported media file can loop, so wondering if Avid has same capability.

You have to cut it in multiple times, or take it to After Effects, set it to loop until it’s the duration you want, then render it and import that.
I’d just cut it in a few times. Doesn’t take long.

yeah… too bad Avid doesn’t have this. what a shame.
