I have only one clip or video I want to set up to loop forever, there is nothing else in my project. HOW do I do this? I read the F1 help on loop and the only time I see this loop option is when I load a menu from the Library and then is just loops that menu. I don’t even want a menu. I just want to put the dvd in a dvd player and have the short video loop forever. Or use a menu that I click to play the video or clip just once and then it will loop forever.

    THANKS so much

    Hi Joey,

Just drag in the clip, create a timeline for it (have it selected and press ctrl+t), if you have nothing else it will be ‘first play’ automatically, otherwise right click on it and select it there. Now for the loop you only have to select the timeline of the clip, and in the dialog on the right side choose the timeline itself for ‘end action’. This will loop it over and over again.

    Good luck, Steven

You are correct – you don’t need a menu.

Add your video clip to a timeline. Set the timeline as First Play and then set the end action of the timeline to itself. It will loop forever.
