    hi

m trying to create animated clouds/ sky using aurora sky. they animate very well but i need to convert them to a loop of 2-3 seconds.

how can i achieve this. though i’ve tried animating evolution parameter. at 0 second evolution 0 and at 4 seconds evolution 1 cycle. i have turned evolution cycle on. so far so good. my standing clouds loop well. some turbulance in clouds animate and loop as well. but now i want my clouds to move. they cant be standing still. to move my clouds i animate their y element in aurora sky. say -10 to +10 but here is the problem. their motion is not loopable at all.

anybody has tried looping skies made of aurora sky.

any help would b gr8ly appreciated.

    thanks in advance

I just had this come up, and this tutorial was a good one.

Uses trapcode shine and some masking. I’ve also been looking into doing a more ‘columns of light’ look with Sapphire EdgeRays. Nothing spectacular yet, but fun explorations.

“particleIllsuion also has some Aurora Borealis effects as well.”

    hi all

my problem is solved. theres a nice tut on digital anarchy site on how to loop an aurora sky. all i was missing was wind speed in options. it has to be more than zero for clouds to move.

    thanks all
