    Hi all,

I’m having a bit of brain block with an animation and wondered if anyone can help. I need so spin some arrows around an object and can’t seem to figure it out. ( see attached image )

I tried turning the arrows into 3d layers and rotating on the x-axis but it didn’t look right.

    Any tips much appreciated.

Hi Ben, you could use CC Cylinder, offset the Rotation X and keyframe Rotation Y. (You may need to do one arrow and then duplicate and re-position it if the X rotation becomes too extreme?).

curving an element in a true 3d space was never easy in Ae. I suggest this: make you 2d animation as usual anyway you see fit and at the end turn the arrow and the other layer 3d and just rotate the x axis of the arrow just a bit.
