I’ve already searched for this and have somewhat answered my question, but I still need a little more clarification. I was asked yesterday how it’s possible to loop a background in AE if the frame rate is set to 29.97fps and if it’s ok to just set it at 30fps so there’s no blip. I didn’t really have an answer for him. When I’ve looped things in AE, using Autoscroll for example I just divide the size so 720x30fps to set the speed so I just round up and it seems to be a seamless loop to me. Any more insight would help.

    Thanks!

I’ve never had an issue with looping 29.97 content in AE. The biggest pitfall people land in (that causes a “blip”) is putting the end keyframe (which is identical to the first frame’s keyframe value) at the end of the composition. It should be one frame past the end of the composition.
