    Hello:
I’m having difficulty creating loopable animations in AE and then sending then to Final Cut Pro. I create an animation in AE that loops perfectly as a RAM preview and loops perfectly when played in Quicktime Movie Player. But, when I place it on a Final Cut timeline to send to a clip server or make a loopable DVD, I get a hick-up as if I’ve lost a frame.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

FCP has a bizarre frame reference, unlike any other normal video application. Inexplicable design decision by Apple.
Back in AE, add one more frame to the beginning and to the end of the comp, make these frames something you can easily see and trim, put something extra on them. Render it again and reimport it.
I think you’ll see instantly where the problem lies and how to fix it.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
