    Hi guys,

Im up against a deadline, and I have an important question. I have an AVI file im outputting that will go on a DVD. An animation plays, the elements fall on screen, and then I want it to loop, but only the ending portion (not the beginning part). Is there a way to tell an AVI to loop at specific points?

You can do this if you author the video as background of a motion menu. In the menu Properties you will find a “loop point” setting. The part before the time set in this “loop point” will be played once, everything after it will loop. Be aware that all menus together on a DVD are not allowed to exceed 1GB (corresponding roughly to 15 minutes of video).
