  • Loop nested comp (easy i know)…

Ok, I have a nested comp, in which is a single time remapped layer.
I’ve added an expression to the nested comp: loopOut(“cycle”)
But it’s not looping smoothly, it seems to be spitting out a loop of random(ish) frames…
is this the right code to use?

    thanks

since ‘cycle’ is the default, you can try just loopOut()…

but i have a feeling ae is just acting up, try choosing edit>purge>all from the menu to see if that may help clear things out of ae. if that doesn’t work, try a reboot of the machine.

if none of that works respond back…

Hi, I once had this problem and resolved it by adding a time remap keyframe at frame -1.
But I’m not sure why it worked…

well first thing you have to make sure is that your comp is even “loopable”, by making your first and last frame the same, then putting the keyframe either after your first frame or the frame before the last so it doesnt duplicate that exact frame. If you have set it up that way than it does sound like you could be having some RAM issues.
