So I’m working on a project and one of the shots is something crawling under the ground under the talents feet. I gave CC Bulge and liquify a try but I’m not liking the results so far. Is there another way of doing this? Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Not seeing the actual image is kinda’ hard to guess, but here’s a couple of things to try:
Comp grass (mask some from back layer) in front and use puppet tool.
Or try to distort using mesh warp.

    This might help.
