  • Looking for WARP tutorial.

    Hello to all,

I am attempting to locate a tutorial (or a similar tutorial for this particular process) which I had previously seen somewhere on the web. It is for a “warp” type effect. I want to utilize this effect in a project and I can not find the tutorial anywhere.

The “warp” tutorial in question–featured an image of a woman (in winter perhaps) waking in a park, the warp affect was applied (as best I recall) to transition the viewer from wide shots to close ups of the subject.

DESCRIPTION: It is similar to how the ships on the series (I belive it is Star Trek)go to “warp”. Everything freezes for a moment…thin lines elongate from the subject…everything gets “linear” for a moment…and then everything re-emerges on a “new” image.

Any tutorial on a similar “warp” type effect would be appreciated.

    Regards.

Surely this could be created with a recipe using Shine. Or maybe just a radial blur of some kind.

Yes many thanks. It was a Shine-related tutorial. You pointed me in the desired direction.
