    Hi all,

So I have a property edit and need to create a highlight ‘outline’ over a block of apartments in a drone shot which orbits around the building. I’ve done this with no problems on previous shots, where the shot duration has been shorter and the shape doesn’t have to change much with its movement – some slight keyframe nudges here and there to correct any drifting.

This shot is longer and the camera movement more extreme, so the shape of the apartment in the space changes quite a bit over time. I’m using the 3D camera tracker, creating a solid and camera, precomping, then creating a shape layer that matches the shape of the building in the precomp and deleting the solid. However, there’s too much drift and the building shape changes too much to correct by keyframing.

How would you recommend I can approach this to get my 2D outline to lock on to the shape of the building and remain locked through the shot?

    Thanks in advance!
