Looking for some advice on buring Blu-Ray discs
Hi Guys, hoping somebody can help plug the gap in my knowledge here.
I’m trying to burn off a Blu-ray disc but when testing the disc in my set top Blu-ray player & Xbox One neither device will play them (the Blu-ray burner will play the disc)
I’ve come to the conclusion that this is down to both devices only allowing “Mastered” disc’s to play.
My question is, if I’m burning these BD-R’s using encore then should the BD-R be recognised as a “Mastered” disc?a side issue I have is that encore will not burn directly to the BD writer (dreaded error 3 issue) so I’m having to burn the project to an image & then use imgburn to then transfer to disc. Hoping it’s just my workflow that may be causing the issues here
Any help of pointers would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I use Encore and burn with Toast, and haven’t had any problems with bluray players (and tested on a variety of models). Mac only software but if that helps…
