Is San networking a voodoo practice that only works for mom & pop operations or the megacorps?

I’m interested in hearing from people that have successfully implemented 8 to 30 Terrabyte solutions with 5 to 8 users working with video editing software running dv 25?

6 Seats of FibreJet running with Media 100 HD, OSX10.4.4, dual2GB FibreChannel Atto boards, ~10TB drivespace on 2 RAID systems, from heavily compressed SD footage up to 1080/25p material all played back from our SAN. No voodo practice here, just a little bit of magic 😉

Seriously, the big advantage of FibreJet from Commandsoft is that it uses standard OS filesystems and therefore implemention of a SAN with it is (relatively) simple and can be done by somebody who has some computer experience. If you want to set up something like XSan you better should know what you
