  • Looking for P2 rental // paging Jan Crittenden Livingston

Sorry, I’m not sure if this is the appropriate place to look or ask for a rental but i didn’t see any other forum to do this.

I’m in Indianapolis, IN and I’m in need of renting a Panasonic P2 camera package (AG-HVX200, at least two cards, and card reader) for April 5th in Indianapolis. Is anyone on this forum from the area that has or knows of a house that I can rent from.

    thanks,

    PHIL

Fletcher Chicago should be able to hook you up. It’s not too far away from you.

Thanks. However, right now we are really trying to find something local.

    Hi,

If you have check with the rental facilities in Indianapolis and they do not have any then I would try Fletcher or Zacuto out of Chicago.

    Best,

    Jan,

Thanks for the reply. We are working with Ed Janda with Panasonic on a shoot for the IRL IndyCar that is sponsored by Panasonic. The majority of the footage will be shot with the VariCam and the AG-HVX200 would be second angle. I was hoping that there would be a place in Indy that would have the AG-HVX200 for rent and that you would be able to direct me to this place. However, after calling most places in town I’m finding that we will probably have to go to Fletcher in Chicago.

Is there a link on the Panasonic site that lists the houses that rent these cameras similar to the link for the VariCams.

I’m located in Indy. If you need a HVX200 (2-8gb P2) with a complete location set-up… let me know. I have just finished putting together a closely-held rental camera together. It’s a very nice package with a Marshall 7″ cameraman monitor, Petroff mattebox, zoom and focus control and a field hard drive to off-load the P2 cards. (I also have a Panasonic 17″ HD/SD client monitor too if needed). Let me know if you need it in the future. Brand new and looks impressive.

I use P2Rents for my card rentals, they’ve never disappointed.
