I was told there are some free plugins for vegas that really give a nice film look.
I really need help with this quick, I am submitting to a festival this week and am burning the midnight oil … literally.
    Thanks!!!

Can you buy and use Celluloid without purchasing Ultimate S? The description is a little confusing, as it “plugs into” Ultimate S, but doesn’t say whether it needs to or what the advantage is using Ultimate S.

Celluloid is free on its own with a few film looks.
You can purchase ReelPaks that will load into Celluloid or Ultimate S.
If you have Celluloid, the filmlooks will also show up in Ultimate S 2/3.
Hopefully that clarifies. Yes, the website isn’t as clear as it should be. We’re working on remedying that now, as we discontinue old products and pages.
Celluloid originally wasn’t free, and therefore some of the old pages are still lying around our site.

I tried to just download Celluloid but everywhere I see it, it’s attahced to Rell Pak and it’s listed at $24.99. Am I missing something?

Do a search for presets on the VASST site and you’ll find some interesting “looks” done by various users.
You’ll need Sony’s Preset Manager (it’s free) to be able to install these.
