Looking for advice on best PC workstation to build
We are wishing to test in workflow involving PPro for 4k and beyond projects. What PC workstation specs would you suggest best to handle this?
Specifically Processors, GFX cards (type and combinations), etc. We would like to customize for best possible playback and rendering turnaround.
4k to maybe 8k raster including AE comps linked into PPro. Fairly deep compositing….not just simple sequence. Approx 20-30min timeline build from multiple 2min segment builds.
Also island storage suggestions?

Hi Phil,
Looks like you got good recommendations already on the Adobe forum, although I was surprised that nobody asked what codecs and cameras you plan to work with, and what applications (if any) besides AE. (Resolve?)
Also, are you looking purely for specs, or vendor recommendations, as well? Timeframe for purchase? Budget range? Hardware support requirements if any? That will affect recommendations as well.
