I hope I am not asking for the impossible, but I am currently in a situation where I need to take audio that was synced up to 24fps vision and lay it on to a tape that is rolling at 23.976 – audio coming out of a 24fps avid project via the BOB.

I know I could probably do it by using pro tools to do a conversion, but was wondering if there was some magic box out there that could take audio via embedded SDI or via toslink and convert it on the fly so that it can be layed back on to a tape running at that 23.976 and still be in sync.

let me know if what I am saying needs to be clarified further.
