    Hmm. Employing Avid editors, is inspiring.. they ask questions you have never thought about before.. So the last one is.. is there a shortcut how I select/switch between the two different windows..(left/right) in the trimedit mode. A bit hard to explain this. As far as I can see I have to use the mouse..

    Couple, different ways. you can select which side you want to be on by choosing the single roll tool (which would be rr) then simply put that on which side of the edit you want to trim (left or right, outgoing or incoming) and double click. This will open the trim window with that side selected.

    You can double click an edit and then hit u to cycle through the left, right or both.

    Toggle the U Key. That’s the ticket.
